When I was in high school, I knew I wanted to do interior design when I grew up, I majored in it at FIT. It was a full-time job. I had 22 credits during the semester and was going to school Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. FIT prepared me because I was getting real-life experience, which set me up for success in the real world. I interviewed Freyer Collaborative Architects in Manhattan for a class project, and when I graduated, I reached out to them and got my first job. I then relocated to Virginia and continued working in design and architecture firms in Washington, DC. In this area, there are more government contracts, so I now work for the FBI as a master planner. I'm still on the same career path but in a different way. I also was a designer on HGTV for "Curb Appeal" for eight episodes, and they liked how I thought outside the box. I designed a set for the HBO series "K Street", which was produced by George Clooney and directed by Steven Soderbergh. I appeared in episode number four because, when I presented the materials and finishes for the set, Steven Soderbergh liked how I presented and wanted me to play myself on TV.
